Are these really the best bagels in New York City?

New York-style bagel made with some baking techniques borrowed from Montreal.

They are poached in honey water and seeded before being baked.

They are smaller than from your neighborhood spot and crispy and less dense than most New Yorkers are used to.

Black Seed Bagels use high quality ingredients and creativity to create hands down sandwiches and really what this place makes so special bagel spot.

I call this place "Perfect"

TODD SNYDER X L.L. BEAN

Todd Snyder unveiled his new collaboration with outdoor retailer L.L. Bean last night during New York Fashion Week: Men’s.
Snyder and the outdoor brand worked together to bring their shared passion for the outdoors and their appreciation for high-quality products to life in this 40-piece collection, which will be available for purchase this fall.
The L.L.Bean x Todd Snyder collection honors the iconic apparel and footwear of the Maine-based brand. With everything from a new twist on oil-cloth Bean Boots to a new tweed Boat and Tote to fresh, vintage-inspired patterns for the brand’s classic Chamois shirt, the pieces will highlight key materials essential to L.L.Bean design such as fleece, wool, and flannel.
“I’ve wanted to approach L.L.Bean since starting my own line in 2011,” said Snyder. “It is such an iconic, American brand that has created so many classic items over the years – from the Bean Boot to items like their Chamois shirt – there is so much history, heritage, and purpose in what they do. It was an honor to be able to work with those iconic items and offer up a new, fresh take.”

“Going back through the archives at Bean and seeing old photos of the founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, in his hunting gear, he had this very authentic and down-to-earth aesthetic. I really wanted to bring that to life,” added Snyder.
For L.L.Bean, this collaboration is an opportunity to reintroduce many of the classic items that have become synonymous with the brand.
“Everything we do at L.L.Bean revolves around quality products and making sure people are comfortable in the outdoors, no matter if they are walking to the subway or camping in the woods,” said Owen Kelly, vice president of product creation for L.L.Bean. “Working closely with Todd to comb through our archives for inspiration, it became clear that he gets our history and our brand, and we couldn’t think of a more perfect fit.”
Items in the collection include puffer vests, sweaters, overcoats, hats and of course, Maine-made Bean Boots. Items will be available for purchase in select L.L.Bean and Todd Snyder stores and online at www.llbean.com and www.toddsnyder.com beginning this fall.
