My son started watching movies that Mr.De Niro is in.
I am not sure how and why he started watching his movies and I decided to join the club.
We have watched Taxi Driver, Good Fellas, The Godfather, Heat, Cape fear, Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, Midnight Run so far.
In recent years, Mr. De Niro appears with softer character and most of younger people are more familiar with De Niro in that aspect.
Robert De Niro is a great actor who devotes all his energy to create his character. But let me tell you this, after I have started watching older movies say before 1990's, you will get goosebumps. Maybe its too hard to watch and want to avert your eyes. It is not because the pictures are harsh to watch, his characters are too real, fearful, powerful.....almost cause an illusion that he is behind you in a same room.
Why people honor him so much?
