sothebysWe are pleased to announce that the winning bidder on @Banksy’s ‘Girl with Balloon’ last Friday night in London has confirmed their decision to acquire the new work that was created in our salesroom. Newly titled ‘Love is in the Bin’, the piece has become the first artwork in history to have been created live during an auction. The buyer, a female European collector and a long-standing client of Sotheby’s, is proceeding with the purchase at the same price as was achieved in the room on the night. ‘Love is in the Bin’ will be on view to the public in Sotheby’s New Bond Street galleries in #London on Saturday and Sunday 13th and 14th October from noon until 5pm. Final entry to the galleries at 4.40pm.

Going, going, gone.

We all got Banksy-ed again.

Girl with Balloon just got higher value right after being shredded.

What a irony and brilliant.

TOKYO TOWER

Biggest symbol for Tokyo.

Japan economy boosted right after TOKYO TOWER was built in 1958.

I was born and raised in center area of Tokyo and growing up seeing the tower all the time.

The tower has seen all the events in Tokyo for 60 years and as of 9/30/2018, the tower will retire from being antenna for television broadcasting and radio.

Thank you for being symbol for Tokyo and well done!

This is the present situation in America.

Naomi Osaka

First Japanese player to become a Grand Slam champ!

But the atmosphere was far from celebrating cheerfully.

I thought it was more unsportsmanlike event.

Naomi Osaka has pulled off one of the biggest upsets ever who fought for every point, she covered her face and cried. The crowd booed her.

Everything started with Serena Williams's epic meltdowns.

She just could not let it go and kept berating the umpire and yelled and called him a thief.

The champ, Naomi Osaka accepted the trophy while choking back tears. never smiled.

She said, " I'm sorry, I know that everyone was cheering for her and I'm sorry it had to end like this."

Very very odd things to witness and hear on the Grand Slam champion ceremony.

Let's face it, this wasn't Osaka's first victory over Williams, she beat Williams back in March.

Naomi Osaka has earned that trophy.

Let's not ourselves to go to the political side of it as Williams is trying to make scene more than necessary.

Sportsmanship is what matters here.
