JAPAN TRIP - 日本出張

I just booked my flight to Tokyo on 3/21 yesterday.
My trip this time will be for SATURDAYS SURF DAIKANYAMA STORE open and PROJECT NO.8 POP UP STORE open at BARNEYS JAPAN.
I have worked with these projects for a year and finally open to public this month.
I will update more details on those projects soon.

昨日、3/21からの日本出張のティケットを手配した。
今回の目的は、代官山にオープンするSATURDAYS SURFショップと、PROJECT NO.8が、バーニーズ銀座店、新宿店にPOP UP SHOPをオープンする為です。
この２つのプロジェクトの企画を始めてから、丁度１年が経った。同じ時期に、上手く話がまとまったから、余計忙しくなったが、やっと実現する喜びを徐々に感じている。

PROJECT NO.8 X BARNEYS JAPAN

I have been working on this project almost a year and we are so thrill to unveil the event!
On March.9, PROJECT NO.8 will have pop up store at BARNEYS GINZA store and on March.31, continue to launch the pop up store at BARNEYS SHINJUKU store.
It is PROJECT NO.8 first time ever to introduce their own labels at other store from apparel to gadget items.

Fun Project - Very New York Style

If you are in fashion industry in US, especially familiar with men's field, you should know Mr.Martin Greenfield. He is the one of the best tailor in US and yes! he is based in Brooklyn, NY. There are so many movie stars begging? him for the custom suits, and many well known American brands has begged him to build thier brand together.
During the fashion week that is about to start from this coming Thursday, ACE HOTEL and Martin Greenfield will launch the pop up tailor studio at hotel.
If you will be in town, it may be worth of odering your own custom suits for once in a life time.

Join our team?

We put classified ad in Japanese news paper to recruit new staff for our company. There are almost 50 people so far  interested in our work and we are very pleased and at the same time, we are meeting almost all of them for interviews this week and next week.

ご存知の方もいらっしゃると思いますが、今フリーぺーパーで人材の募集をしています。とても有難い事に、５０人近くの応募を頂きました。先週に引き続き、来週も面接をさせて頂きますが、皆さん志の高い、素晴らしい人ばかりです。残念ながら、全ての人たちにお会いする事は難しいですが、ニューヨークに、頑張っている日本人がここまで居ることを知るのはうれしい限りです。早く弊社ももっと大きくなり、一人でも多くの方々と一緒にお仕事をしたいと感じています。
