SATURDAYS SURF代官山のオープンが、もうすぐ。ショップの中を少し、ご紹介します！

3 X 1

3 X 1 created by denim guru, Scott Morrison who is also well known as founder of Paperdenim & Cloth and Ernest Sewn. He has brought the denim piece to another level this time. Now he does denim bespoke.
He recently opend 3 x 1 store in SOHO and since then, denim lovers has been knocking the door and order thier own specs of denim. I always respect what he creates and love this one the best by far. Scott was so kind enough to invite me and offer the special piece for me. Thanks Scott!!
アメリカでデニムマスターと言えば、恐らく殆どの人は、Scott Morrisonの事を指しますよね。何たって、paperdenim & clothを立ち上げ、所謂プレミアムデニム・ブームの仕掛け人です。その後はErnest sewnをスタートし、デニムアイテムをしっかりと安定させた人です。そのScottが、今度はデニムのビスポークを始めたと言うから、もう呆れた。まだまだデニムの挑戦が続いているのです。ソーホーの一等地に、3 X 1のストアーをオープン。真っ白な店内には、70種類以上の生地が壁一面に掛かっており、その奥はデザインスタジオ、縫製スタジオ、フィッティングルームと続く。
1日何本作れるのかな？多いに注目な3 X 1。
今回は、Scottから有難い事に、カスタムのデニムをプレゼント頂いた。

SATURDAYS SURF TOKYO

As many people out there in Tokyo have been waiting for this for a long time!! Yes, SATURDAYS SURF will land in Tokyo finally.
I am very honored to be part of this project and thanks for CROSBY EAST COMPANY making it real and it has been pleasure working with them.
Reception party will hold on 3/23 and after pary afterwards.
Grand opening will be on 3/24 and we all will be looking forward to welcoming you soon.

東京の皆様、お待たせしました。いよいよ代官山に、ニューヨークのSATURDAYS SURF SHOPがオープン致します。
プロジェクトの話が上がってから、１年も経たない内に早くもショップオープン。この様な行動、決断の早いクライエントさまとお取り組みが出来て、とても光栄です。
3/23にレセプションパーティーを行います。その翌日にグランドオープン。
サーフィンをされない方もウェルカム。今、ニューヨークで絶好調のSATURDAYS SURFに是非お立ち寄りください。シャカ！ .

PROJECT NO.8 at BARNEYS GINZA

Project No.8 shop in shop at Barneys Ginza store has started now!!
I could not be there to celebrate the opening, but Brian and Elizabeth, the owner of Project No.8 were there to witness it and made it happen.
The store look great and hope many of Japanese people would appreciate the world of Project No.8.
Ginza shop in shop will last till 3/25 and Shinjuku store will be open from 3/31-4/22. I will be at opening for shinjuku store.

Project No.8のshop in shopが、バーニーズ銀座店でスタートした。
私は、オープニングには行けませんでしたが、オーナーのBrianと、Elizabethが来日し、イベントを盛り上げてくれた様子。
銀座店は、3/25まで開催し、3/31～は、新宿店でオープンします。私も、オープンに参加します。
3/16からは、Dover street Ginzaもオープンするし、一気に外国の面白さが、東京に一同しますね。
日本の皆さん、是非Project No.8の世界を堪能してください。

Yes, my man Todd Snyder did it again!! He is the one of the GQ'S Best New Menswear Designer this year!!
As you may know that I have been acting as a creative director for this collection for Japan/Asia territories and I am so confident that Todd Snyder will be huge in our market soon.

JAPAN TRIP - 日本出張

I just booked my flight to Tokyo on 3/21 yesterday.
My trip this time will be for SATURDAYS SURF DAIKANYAMA STORE open and PROJECT NO.8 POP UP STORE open at BARNEYS JAPAN.
I have worked with these projects for a year and finally open to public this month.
I will update more details on those projects soon.

昨日、3/21からの日本出張のティケットを手配した。
今回の目的は、代官山にオープンするSATURDAYS SURFショップと、PROJECT NO.8が、バーニーズ銀座店、新宿店にPOP UP SHOPをオープンする為です。
この２つのプロジェクトの企画を始めてから、丁度１年が経った。同じ時期に、上手く話がまとまったから、余計忙しくなったが、やっと実現する喜びを徐々に感じている。
