Postal worker Herb, and librarian Dorothy collected over 5,000 artworks since 1960's and launched a national gift project with the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC in 2008 that would constitute one of the largest gifts in the history of American art. Also they gave total of 2,500 artworks to museums in all fifty states.
