Dear Junko Takaku Welcome to the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards Guild.  The CFDA Fashion Awards is our industry’s celebration of great talent and accomplishment.  We invite you to join our member designers, along with top fashion retailers, journalists and stylists, in nominating and voting for top industry designers and honorees. On February 13, at the end of New York Fashion Week, you will receive an email from Ernst & Young with registration and nomination instructions. We look to your expertise and creative eye to nominate those who you think are leaders and influencers of 2013.  You are part of this esteemed group because you will be one of the lucky few who experience the collections and clothes firsthand.  We ask you to keep your eyes open during Fashion Week and give careful consideration to your nominations. Each year, we look forward to learning who our industry deems the leaders of today and the emerging innovators of tomorrow.  We welcome you to our awards guild and value your opinion. Nominations start February 13 and end March 11, final voting will occur at the end of April, and the CFDA Fashion Awards will take place June 3, 2013.  Thank you for your time and consideration, Diane von Furstenberg and Steven Kolb
