LEGO

It was my boy birthday and went to FAO SHWARZ toy store on 5th avenue. I do not dislike this store, but just don't go there often.
I was welcomed by toy soldiers with all smile on thier face and ride on escalator to the fantasy world floor.

Wow! they have so many toys and wow! they have an amazing lego statues. I guess I do not need to tell you who they are, but they are really well designed.

先日、息子の誕生日のプレゼントを買いに、５番街にある大きなFAO SHWARZに足を運んだ。

おもちゃ屋さんは嫌いではないが、しょっちゅうは行かないタイプ。

必要以上に大声で　”ようこそ！！”と兵隊さんに迎えられ、そのままおもちゃが並ぶ2階へ。ドキドキ、ワクワクしながら上がると、どかーんとそこは、おもちゃだらけ。

余りにも細かいおもちゃなどが沢山あるので、詳細は書かないが、一番奥に別室的なスペースがある。泣く子も黙る、レゴコーナーだ。

今のレゴは、我々の世代の人もオドオドする必要のないほどあまり変わっていない。細かく言うと、色々とキャラクター物は出ているが。。。。。

でも僕は驚いた。でっかいHarrison Ford, 自由の女神、Jonny Deppが立っている。全てレゴで出来ていて、完成度は高い。

一体、どこから始めたのだろう。
